A Comonplace Book

musings of a wayward scribbler

Comonplace books were popular in the Renaissance, a place to jot down ideas, bits of verse, receipts (that's how to cook something), and so on. You'll find I'm not the first to call my weblog a comonplace book if you allow for variations in spelling.

I'm a New Mexico native, writer, and sometimes musician, living in the mountains where I love gazing at the stars at night.
